Guest guest
>He Christian! Hi Linda, How are you? I wanted to visit you and a thousand other people while I was in Seattle from the 12-16th, but I really only had 3.5 days and spent them with my family. Who I haven't seen in a year now. I didn't know about the camping weekend at Norms. I should have spoken up when they were rushing me off here and there when I needed to check RawSeattle.org's event calendar. And yes I should have looked at it weeks in advance . I also foolishly assumed there would be something Sunday, when I know full well that you guys don't have a Sunday event every weekend. Had I known about the event I certainly would have attended. Although we did spend that day mountain biking and mushroom picking (my parents anyways) at Monte Cristo and I had a great time. I also learned that all mushrooms are poisonous raw, even the salad kind and that in Europe everyone cooks theirs before eating them. I can't remember what it does, I think it has toxins that adversely affect one's nervous system and or liver. I can see I'll have to ask my mom again . I never liked mushrooms so it wasn't that big of a loss to me. Never in my life have I looked at one and salivated. >Please hand over the passwords to Nichole. She's a great lady and I >want >her! Linda I did so yesterday evening in spite of almost no time, getting packed for my flight, and limited internet functionality (56K hell). Nichole wrote me two days ago and I told her I'd have to verify her authority. When I get e-mails from unknown strangers I'm not in the habit of handing over password to websites that represent 3 years of my work and support ~300 users. Truly that would be an act of great stupidity and a security nightmare. So naturally I had to postpone that operation. Admittedly, I wanted Eric's verification and I waited until I got it. >I'm sorry to read the discouraging emails. Please please do what you >can >to get her what she needs! Considering that I was on vacation in and out of my house and didn't even have time to read e-mails from my own father during my vacation I think I responded in adequate time. I'm sorry about any delays, but they've waited before and they can wait again. None of us are getting paid here and for all Eric and I have given I think they're getting plenty bang for their buck. >This should be enough verification for you. She has my full >permissions! I >guess ERic disappeared into the ethers... Yes and no. Our website is big and complicated. We don't let children fly 747s and I'm not about to put our website in incapable hands either. Even when an Airline gets a 20-year veteran 737 pilot they still have to get retrained to operate 767s and so forth. Such is the case with my website it's proprietary and requires specific knowledge of its interworkings. So I did needed to read Nichole's background, get verification, and send her plenty of info. Although I was leaving for the airport at the time and she still needs to have further training and explanation in spite of her many skills. Based on the experience she described her skills should leave Eric and I in the dust. I welcome her addition to our team. >Looking forward to a wonderful working relationship with Nichole. Me too . >thanks in advance.
