h o w t r u e ! would you like me to stop sending these snippets of "buddhist wisdom" around ... i thought they were rather fun to read, regardless wether one is a buddhist or not ... yeah, simply fun ... right? ... so, just let me know, if these qualify as teachings forced on others without being asked to do so... best wishes... i l l a

No one wants to stop you sending these messages. I just want you to

send them somewhere else! Why don't you start your own raw

philosophizer's group and people can suscribe if they want to.

I know of far too many good raw fooders who have quit the rawseattle

group and stopped going to pot lucks because of this kind of

fanaticism. Lets keep it down to earth. Lets claim back our raw

community. Now is the time to speak. Ultimately if we do not sort out

the facts from the fanatical it will be the end of rawseattle for me.

I love rawfoodism. I hate fanaticism. I want to hear where the best

peaches are, not what the buddah contemplated.

It is up to you

ok, that's done, it's a fact now, thanks for all ...

I know of far too many good raw fooders who have quit the rawseattle group and stopped going to pot lucks because of this kind of fanaticism.

now, let's pour clean water in the glass... is it really true, that "too many good raw fooders quit?" ... i'm sorry, i do not know one, not one, who quit... because i'd apologise to each and every one separately, if those small gems of wittiness were the one and only reason for their quitting the group, we should have known about that, shouldn't we.... and i never ever experienced any sort of fanaticism from any who i know, lack of sense of humor - yes, but not fanaticism of any kind, especially during pot lucks, which have always been as down to the earth as they possibly could have been, and if i am so misinformed , i ask anyone, to help to get me straight about this... anyway, i am not a religious fanatic myself, not even a buddhist, but anywhere i turn for intellectual/spiritual nutrition , the media, the academic world, the political environment, they have nothing to offer, so any little trace mineral of knowledge, regardless where it comes from, is greatly appreciated here, and i never found anything fanatic in those buddhist thoughts, they are actually the closest to the lifestyle i have chosen, the most in-synch with what I as living the raw lifestyle think of this world in general, regardles if one is aware of it or not, and don't forget "the fact" that rawfoodism in the eye of the rest of the world is oh so fanatic in itself and so many actually hate us for that, but many that i came to know at recent gatherings, festivals, actually visits our website, without being a member, for the very reason, that we are not fanatics, and we have such varieties of ideas to share, including those daily ones you find forced on you and these people are from this state, from oregon and from california, new york, texas, who knows where... and they admire us for that, what a pity not recognising these values in ourselves...

I love rawfoodism. I hate fanaticism.

don't hate yourself, niz

I want to hear where the best peaches are,

same here, but man does not live on peaches alone....

not what the buddah contemplated. It is up to youNiz

be at peace, best wishes ... and peaches
