Guest guest
Hi, We would welcome any participation from the Raw Seattle community in the upcoming World Vegetarian Day Celebration that will be held on October 5. Ruth Heidrich, PhD, our guest speaker, follows a primarily raw diet – full of tropical fruit from her home state of Hawaii. You can get involved by attending the event, volunteering to help out at the event, or if any of you are interested in being a food sponsor or a cash sponsor please let me know. We will be serving vegan appetizers/snacks and we have one chef preparing a raw dessert. We would welcome more raw food!! More info on sponsorships is listed on the EarthSave Seattle website at www.EarthSaveSeattle.org. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or want to volunteer or be a sponsor. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Amy, Thanks for your quick response! I do have a couple more questions. What would we expect to pay for table space, and would tables & chairs be provided? I didn't see where these questions were answered on the website. Also, do you have any idea how many people are expected to attend? I've heard Dr. Heidrich speak before but didn't realize she was mostly raw. That's great. I'm not sure we could contribute to the food sampling side of things. There are a couple people in the group interested in this, but I couldn't guarantee their participation. It would mostly be just talking to people, handing out literature, etc. Thanks so much for your help! Nora "A. S.
