Exciting Potluck this Saturday--NOON @ Lincoln Park

Hi everybody--- I'm back from my awesome

Ashland/Shasta/Portland travels and it's potluck time again.

 

This time, I thought it would be fun to have a Labor Day Weekend

picnic in Lincoln Park. No, I did not reserve any spaces, because

they arre already reserved. We can just take up space, like we

did before--in an open grassy area.

 

Shall we play all day together, the commemorate the end of

summer (boo hoo ) and the beginning of Fall? We can meet

anytime after 11am and hang out all day--lots to do. Hike,

explore the beach, swim in the sound, swim in the clorinated

saltwater pool (Labor Day is the final day for this pool), play lawn

games (if you have any), frisbee, etc.

 

Bring portable tables for the food, chairs, blankets, swim suits

and towels, whatever picnic items you like.

 

Speakers: Socorro Maia will share with us her 3 weeks of

training in Ashland and her new trainings she will make

available to us. She also has information about Body Electronics

to share and how we as a community can heal each other!

 

Also, Teena Snyder will share some of her wonderful raw poetry

and raw humor that she shared at the festival on stage.

 

ALSO-- for those who are interested in a break-away meeting

about starting up a co-op or food buying club-- we will break

away and discuss this topic and begin settting some direction

for this exciting benefit to our rawseattle community.

Hi Linda! I just joined raw seattle and was thinking about going to the

potluck, but I'm new and still struggling with my raw diet and not sure if

you have to be totally raw to go.
