to those of you going to the taste of health and spending the nite at my place...

several people have been concerned about the border crossing as far as food and belongings.

 

here's some information;

 

the blaine truck crossing is sposed to have shorter lines during the busy times.

anyone is welcome to leave their stuff at my place on the way up. the fridge is on the porch and the house isn't locked if you want to use the 'facilities'. just walk in and the bathroom will be to your right. leave your belongings anywhere in the house. the cat doesn't bite but may ask for some strokes.

here's directions to my place from seattle;Directions from the freeway:- Exit #255 [sunset shopping area]- Go east towards the mountains on Mt. Baker highway [sunset Dr.] to theintersection with Hannegan/Woburn. That's the third traffic lite *after*after you leave the freeway intersection. - Turn north

onto Hannegan. - Take Hannegan for about 3 to 4 milesto Kelly Road.- Turn east

towards the mountains onto Kelly.- Go about 3/4 of a mile on Kelly to the black 1215 mailbox. The mailboxnumbers are not in order. I'm the next driveway after 'Nettle Lane' on thesame side of the road.- Turn south

onto the gravel drive across from the 1215 mailbox.- Take the 1st left [private driveway] off the gravel drive and proceed tothe log house. map;Because not all of the following URL is high-lighted , you'll have tocopy/paste it into you browser.

here's the directions returning from canada. reverse these directions for the quickest route from my place to canada.

 

 

going south on I-5

- take exit #262 at ferndale.

- turn east towards the mountains (left) onto axton rd and drive until you come to hannegan rd (about 6 miles).

- turn south (right) on hannegan rd and go to kelly rd (about 2 miles)

- turn east (left) onto kelly.- go about 3/4 of a mile on kelly to the black 1215 mailbox on the north side of the road (the mailbox numbers are not in order). i'm the next driveway after 'nettle lane' on the same side of the road.- turn south (right) onto the gravel drive across from the 1215 mailbox.- take the 1st left (private driveway sign) off the gravel drive and proceed tothe log house.
