Guest guest
to raw b'ham and raw seattle; some of you have voiced an interest in a campout and seaweed workshop in the san juan's this summer so i've looked over the tide charts and called the sj parks department to check out available group camps and came up with the weekend of july 19 /21 (fri/sun) at shaw island. the group site is limited to 15 people but "someone" could rent a couple of the other spots which would double our capacity. so... i've got the group site 'penciled' in for that weekend until monday while we figure this out. if it wasn't for the seaweed workshop (free by the way), we'd have more options. i've set up the campouts for earthsave in the past and found the best parks in the area to be the following but it's getting a little late in the season to get these sites. - baker lake - larrabee park b'ham - deception pass ( slim chance any sites are open... maybe next year) - any other favorites??? any thots??? seaweed workshop??? any other events on that weekend??? if you're mildly interested please reply so we can get some idea of interest. lookin forward... )~norm
