Guest guest
Citgo 0 barrels Sunoco 0 Conoco 0 Sinclair 0 BP/Phillips 0 Linda - I agree this is a great idea, but what to do if these stations do not exist in our area? Any alternatives? Our BP has now become a Texaco! Most of the ones listed above in Everett are now owned by Shell, Texaco, etc.... Guest guest
So where do these companies get their oil? Other were companies were listed on an earlier email that showed how many barrels of oil they imported from middle eastern countries. The argument was that maybe we should avoid those companies that import oil from countries that support terrorism(?) It seems to me that probably all countries that have oil companies as big business are probably supporting terrorism in some way - especially the US. I still think that if " need " to drive a car, the socially responsible way to shop for gas [cuz all oil companies suck] is to buy the gas that is " best " for your car and pollutes the environment the least. Guest guest
Good point, Chuck. OR Perhaps NOT use our vehicles at all, whenever possible. :-) Linda RawSeattle, " Chuck McClung " <fantasyorchid@h...> wrote: > So where do these companies get their oil? > > Other were companies were listed on an earlier email that showed how many > barrels of oil they imported from middle eastern countries.
