As our natural resources become more scarece, it is clear that the conflicts of the fuure will be over basic essentials such as water. I invite you to join the Seattle Peace Chorus in honoring peace and justice for people of the world and our precious Earth. April 20 is Earth Day. Seattle Peace Chorus is presenting "Peace Upon This Land" with professional orchestra. "Upon This Land" is an environmental ortorio written by our conductor Fred West. Featuring soloists: Thomasa Eckert, soprano Emily Lunde, mezzo-soprano Lid Law, tenor Kevin Helppie, baritone with support from: Biodiversity Northwest where: Center for Spiritual Living, 5801 Sandpoint Way NE, Seattle, south of Magnuson Park when: Saturday, April 20, at 7:30 pm You may get tickets from me. $12 in advance, (I'll give a discount of $2 each for our rawfood group) $15 at the door $10 students, seniors, disabled FREE-children under 6 visit our website: www.word-ware.com/spc During this celebration of Earth Day in this post 9/11 era and times of such extreme global strife, the Seattle Peace Chorus' mission "to communicate through music the desire for a just and peaceful world", is even more relevant when one considers that war is the most destructive and devastating act not only to humankind, but to the planet we share. I have been singing with Seattle Peace Chorus for a number of years. I am sincerely inviting everybody to join our celebration of the Earth Day. Attila and Cyntia attended our concert last year.
