Fasting advice requested

I realize everyone is different and may have different experiences

with extended water fasts, but I would like to hear (read, actually!)

some feedback on other's experiences.

 

I will be having a five day weekend starting on 1/17 and plan to do a

water fast for the duration. I would like to allow for a longer fast

by starting early. Since I work full days Monday (9.5 hrs) and

Tuesday (9) I want to make sure I am OK for those days. If I started

fasting Mon I should be fine. That is probably what I will do.

However, if I were to start on Thursday or Friday before, I would

have an extra weekend for fasting with no work, etc. (just relaxing).

This will be my first extended water fast (beyond 1-2 days). While

working during a fast may not be ideal, the extra days may pay off as

long as I can function well at work (it's not heavy work, just mental

stuff). Working day 1 & 2 may be quite different from working day 5

& 6!

 

Care to share your experiences/suggestions?

hi, jeff

i'm fasting at this moment, have tried many different

options during the last five years as to when to start

how to cheat off some time from woerk and from fasting

how to make the best compromise, and what i have

concluded is the same old cliche among intelligent

and raw people: you have to find it out for yourself

for the occasion for the season etc, important is to

get going, find the best way you think it is at the

moment with the experience you have with the fears

you might have, because that's the way,

anyway, i may meet you tonight at victoria's,ok?
