Guest guest
http://www.planettonasket.com/community/BF/index.html below is a map of the faire grounds. let's plan on camping near my booth. if all goes as planned, i'll be just north of the kids area where it says kelpguy on the map. if some other vendor beats me to 'my spot', i'll try to find a place in the outside circle in that general area so look around for my rusty white ford van. note: there's also another kids area on the upper right side of the map. best times to arrive; - the gate opens at noon on thursday and the vendors will be lined up at the gate to get their spots... then ( about 1pm) it's reasonable until friday nite. if you arrive friday nite, you're gonna find a *really* long line. i don't know how the gate is on saturday morning before noon but saturday afternoon is the busiest trading time. directions; once you find your way to tonasket take hiway 20 uphill east out of tonasket for about 20 minutes. the turn off to the faire, a dirt track going up the hill on your left (north side) is located between mile marker 273 and 274. there's usually a funky sign of some kind at the turn off but it's kinda subtle to avoid bring in passers by. you enter the faire grounds on the lower right side of the map near the 27. tell the parking crew your gonna camp in the lopez/bellingham area and they will direct you. once you get there (pay attention to the map so you know where you are) look for me and to find out where the raw camp is. i'm hoping to leave wednesday morning if the weather is nice, otherwise thursday, to hang out in the mountains for the day so if you have any questions for me, contact me soon. i highly recommend taking hwyway 20 from burlington if you have a little extra time. the scenery is awesome. not to sound like a nagging mom here.. but remember it's hot soup weather over there, especially on clear nites, so bring plenty of warm clothes for nites or some hot (warm) soup for emergencies. i'll be taking a firepit or a small wood stove along, we can chip in ( $) for the firewood. bring your old coconut shells for the fire. oh ya... it can be pretty dusty and smoky there also. 8/ looking forward, norm )~ peace, love and mangos.... here's a photo of my booth. i won't be flying the es banner but i'll have red kelpguy flags on the banner posts.
