raw b'ham potluck/campout

hi all,

next weekend is the last planned potluck/campout of the season at my place and since it's getting dark earlier these days, i'd like to suggest that we plan on eating at 6pm sharp. if the weathers funky, we can hide in the house.

 

btw, a couple of platypus bottles http://www.cascadedesigns.com/platypus/ filled with hot water and placed in the sleeping bag several hours before bedtime makes a *big* difference in comfort in cool weather.

- monthly raw vegan bellingham potluck and camp-out

- norm bader's

- 2nd saturday of the month thru october

- dinner at 6pm

 

 

bring blankets, lawn furniture, instruments, raw vegan food, etc. for a campfire potluck at 6pm on saturday. come early and tour the gardens, set up camp, go for a hike or relax.

 

there's plenty of pondside camping but the house is under construction and facilities are minimal, so bring your own kitchen gear as the kitchen is tiny and it's in my bedroom. fridge space is also minimal. come for the weekend if you wish. yes... there *is* an indoor bathroom and shower. 8^D

 

seaweed gladly traded for durian and longon. please make arrangements for trading.

Directions from the freeway:

- Exit #255 [sunset shopping area]

- Go east towards the mountains on Mt. Baker highway [sunset Dr.] to the intersection with Hannegan/Woburn. That's the third traffic lite *after* after you leave the freeway intersection.

- Turn north

onto Hannegan. - Take Hannegan for about 3 to 4 miles to Kelly Road.

- Turn east

towards the mountains onto Kelly.

- Go about 3/4 of a mile on Kelly to the black 1215 mailbox. The mailbox numbers are not in order. I'm the next driveway after 'Nettle Lane' on the same side of the road.

- Turn south

onto the gravel drive across from the 1215 mailbox.

- Take the 1st left [private driveway] off the gravel drive and proceed to the log house.
