Guest guest
hi folks, for those of you that know about brix, here's a website that lists brix readings of produce on the market nationwide. http://www.brixpage.com/BrixDataForm.asp this is a new site and it's under development. if you have any suggestions on how to make it easier for you to navigate, join BrixTalk and make your suggestions or send them to me and i'll forward your message to the list. for those of you that need a short course in brix, here's the brix site. http://www.crossroads.ws/index.htm the first four links in the green menu on the left side of the homepage are brix related. interestingly, i found the same plu # on a mango in bellingham as someone else found in pennsylvania (small world). by the way, those organic 'south of the border' brand mangos (plu # 94051) that are currently in the produce section are reading pretty high and worth the price but you have to pick through them to find the hi-brixers.. i just slurped down a 22... 16 is excellent. )~ btw... plu stands for 'price lookup label'. a 5 digit number on the label means the product is organic, four digit numbers are used for conventionally grown produce. norm, )~An eye for an eye will only make the whole world blind." --- Gandhi
