While we are at it though, we will hopefully help promote the plant based diet by putting the word out about us and to encourage other restaurants to carry more vegan food. If you are not a NARN member, signing up for membership will also get you tickets. ========================================================================================= Ringling Schedule for Next Week: We Need You THE CRUELEST SHOW ON EARTH IS COMING TO SEATTLEThe Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey's "Red Unit" will be arriving in Seattle on Monday, Sept. 17 and departing Saturday, Sept. 22nd.As always, Ringling will be "parading" the circus animals from the train tracks at the Interbay Train Yard (on the west side of 15th Avenue, just south of the Magnolia Bridge) to the Seattle Center. This year, the circus walk is scheduled to take place at 1 am on Tuesday, September 17th (late Monday night/early Tuesday morning). Let's make sure they are greeted with a crowd of people to protest and document Ringling's abusive practices! If you have a camera or video camera, please bring one--this is a prime opportunity to document the chain marks embedded on the elephants' legs and other signs of animal abuse and neglect. Flyers, banners and signs will be distributed at the walk, but feel freeto create and bring your own.
