RAW WRITER, SPEAKER & MUSICIAN

ROB MILLER

 

Following the raw vegan diet and lifestyle is the single most effective thing we

can do for a vibrantly healthy, happy and compassionate life, and more

importantly to ensure humans a continued long-term existence on Earth. Rob

Miller will give a two-hour workshop on adapting to and maintaining the raw food

diet for an elevated natural life. He will discuss why humans' current dietary

and agricultural practices have in just a few thousand years brought us into our

current ecological and sociological catastrophe, and why raw veganism is a

solution. Topics will include:

Rob Miller is a writer, speaker, composer, saxophonist, flutist, world traveler,

avid yoga practitioner, and enthusiastic raw vegan. In addition to years of

intense personal study, experimentation and introspection, he studied

Yogatherapy and Nature Cure with Dr. V.P. Khanna in the foothills of the Indian

Himalayas, and the Iyengar system of Yoga with Yogacharya Rudra Dev in

Rishikesh, India. Along with his lovely raw vegan wife, Anna Ruth Miller, he is

the principle organizer of the monthly Brooklyn Raw Food Potlucks and Support

groups, as well as the Raw Food Vacations in Bali and India. He has given

lectures, classes and workshops throughout the U.S.A. and Asia including

Portland's Spring Festival of Raw Foods and the Great Raw Food Gathering in

Ashland, OR. His articles have appeared in raw food and vegetarian publications

such as Just Eat An Apple and SATYA, and he recently had the honor of penning

the new introduction to the 15th edition of Prof. Arnold Ehret's classic

RATIONAL FASTING. He is a year 2000 fellow of New York Foundation for the Arts

in music composition and has received many prestigious grants and awards as a

musician and composer. He has toured, performed and recorded across the globe as

leader of his world jazz group Prime Meridian, and with well-known jazz and

world music artists.
