I just viewed a very powerful film entitled, " The Future of Food " . I

am not sure if anyone has posted information about this film before,

but, for those who have never seen it, it is a must-see! The focus of

the film is the on-going blatant attempt at monopolizing the food

industry by a few companies: primarily Monsanto. This effort began

several years ago with the company buying up as much of the world's

commercial seed supply, and then, for the first time, patenting the

content of seeds through bio-engineering and manipulation; including

making crops that are immune from the effects of pesticides.

For those who follow a raw food or vegetarian lifestyle, the

implications of this film is enormous! I would be very interested in

responses from those who watch this film. Here is the link:

The film lasts approximately 90 min.

Oh, I saw it too and boy did it make me an unhappy camper! How people, for the sake of financial gain, manipulate our food supply in such a way is beyond me. The key to success is ALWAYs doing a win-win situation which means HELPING others NOT altering our food supply in a way that could potentially harm all the seed that people are trying to preserve in its heirloom state. If a seed is good quality seed it will have natural protection from pests, it gives off a healthy energy. Just like we don't get sick when we are in good health, it's only when we are weakened that we are susceptible. We don't need genetic engineering of our food, we need to let nature do it's thing and give us what we need. I find it is always foolish to play God!
