Guest guest
Ch'i kung or qi gong (pronounced chee gung and henceforth spelled chi kung) is claimed to be " the science and practice " of chi. Chi kung literally means energy cultivation. Physical and mental health are allegedly improved by learning how to manipulate chi through controlled breathing, movement, and acts of will. Chi kung masters claim to be able to heal at a distance by manipulating chi. It is even said that one can strengthen the immune system by mastering one's chi. Most Westerners are vaguely familiar with Kung Fu and Tai Chi, both of which are related to chi kung. The former is a martial art and the latter is a type of exercise, or internal martial art. The former is sometimes known for demonstrations of breaking bricks with bare hands. The latter is known for the graceful poses of its practitioners. These demonstrations, and stories of even more powerful demonstrations, are offered as evidence of the paranormal or supernatural power that comes to those who master chi. Now that we stated the generics of Qi Gong let's get a little more into the meaning of the term Qi Gong. In order to truly appreciate Qi Gong you must first understand the meaning of the term Qi. QI Several universities in China have been conducting research on the application of scientific methods in studying qigong. A considerable number of scientists, including some famous ones, have been exploring this subject. A number of experts and highly accomplished professors have recognized some of these scientific qigong experiments. Preliminary observations and reports on scientific qigong experiments suggest the following conclusions about qi, and are supported by many professors: qi can be observed, measured and quantified by precise instruments; qi has the properties of matter; qi has the properties of energy; qi conveys comprehensive information content, or has the characteristics of information; preliminary results reveal that qi, emitted by the human body to achieve certain effects, is subject to the regulation and influence of human thoughts and is influenced or disturbed by the emotions of the participants of an experiment, as well as the experimental design and environment. Qi is the electrostatic energy that permeates throughout the entire universe. You can feel qi in your hands, and in your body. Qi is the self healing power in every one of us. Qi travels the speed of light and has matter properties. The formula one may use for Qi is E=MC2 ; Qi(E) is matter conjoined with the speed of celestial vapors, solar and stellar radiation squared. How do we visualize this? We see Qi as a molecular entity or the Keystone to all molecular structures. All things are made up of millions of molecules strung together to create a physical reality. That's what Qi is! A string of molecules that metamorphasizes other elements and binds them in order to create physical realities or the creative force of the Universe; Chien (Heavens). Physics teaches us that the speed of light is the fastest velocity at which one may transmit material, energy, and information. Are there any material phenomena that can travel faster than the speed of light? From a qigong perspective, it seems very possible. But what kind of energy can make such a speed possible? This is difficult to assess. At the moment, modern scientific means still cannot discover or practically measure such an energy form. It is likely that the speed of thought is faster than the speed of light, but how can this be measured? How can this phenomenon be captured? Qi possesses instantaneous motion. The qi permeates through out the entire universe and therefore has to transcend multiple dimensions, since these dimensions can connect and do connect with our own. As we have learned in our studies of metaphysics, our past, future and present have already been created. Thus the realization of its creation proves to support the fact that the one creative force, qi, created them and thus exist in them at the present. Hence, our ability to call back events that have happened in the past that were forgotten and for some of us to connect with future events and people before we actually meet them shows that we can move, if this skill is cultivated, through time lines in any direction at will. This supports our belief that qi force can assist in instantaneously moving from one point in time to another with a wink of spirits eye. The qi of qigong has properties of matter, energy, and information. Moreover, qi can be influenced, disturbed, or controlled by the thoughts of a qi-emitter or people nearby. At the same time, qi can also display different attributes, such as being bi-directional, distance-transcending, self-controllable, reversible, and targeting. Some experiments involving chain reactions have also been successfully completed....... Exerpts from Amensa's upcoming book on Energetics of the Qi in Live Foods.
