1. I visited the West Coast and visited a fine, very succesful raw

food restaurant with 4 locations called Cafe Gratitude.

At the restaurant (they now have 4 locations!!!), I had a nut cheese,

olive pate and fruit platter with hemp and flax seed breads/crackers,

cold pressed coffee with hazelnut milk, enchiladas and I had raw

chocolate and coconut similiar to an Almond Joy for dessert. The

great thing about this restaurant is that every thing on the menu is

described by a positive adjective like wonderful, grateful, etc. So

when you order you say, " I am grateful " and when they bring your

order they say " you are grateful " . The link is below for the menu.

And by the way, they are busy all day, every day (It is San

Francisco)

2. I also visited a juice outlet and cafe (with daily raw entrees).

They sell live and pasteurized juices in their surrounding area and

what ever juice they don't sell that day, they sell marked down at

wholesale prices! So I was able to buy some live Carrot and a few

fruit juices that were only a few hours old. This is in Oakland, CA--

about 10 miles from San Fran. There are at least 10 to 15 raw food

spots within the surrounding area so if you are nearby, check them

out.
