Guest guest
That could be a whole other issue. Here's an interesting bit of info that relates the impact of family relationships on homosexuality. The largest study ever published on homosexual "marriage" was recently released by the first country to legalize it--Denmark. In a culture known for its approval of alternative lifestyles, researchers were able to analyze over two million people and the factors that contributed to homosexuals' relationships. Concentrating on a 12-year period, Morten Frisch and Anders Hviid looked for common threads between those choosing to marry a homosexual and their family background. They discovered that a child's home life largely motivated his decision making. The data suggests that men who marry same-sex partners are more likely to have been raised in a family with unstable parental relationships--particularly, absent or unknown fathers and divorced parents. The findings on women who marry homosexually were less pronounced but still associated with a childhood marked by a broken family. One of the more surprising statistics notes that men who lived with both parents continually from birth to age 18 are significantly less likely to enter a homosexual union. On the contrary, men who did not live with both parents until age 18 were 56%-76% more likely to "marry" another man. The researchers conclude by saying, "Whatever ingredients determine a person's sexual preferences and marital choices, our population-based study shows that parental interactions are important." Notice they didn't say "parental genes" were important but family structures. A study of this magnitude should breathe new life into the value of saving the traditional family.Additional Resources Environmental factors & homosexuality Comparing the Lifestyles of Homosexual Couples to Married Couples Nancy Parlette HEALTHY LIVING STRATEGIES Natural Health Counselor Nutrition Educator ENERGIZING YOU FOR LIVING! I have also noticed people around me acting more "gay" in public after a meal of tofu. What a rediculous assessment of the dangers of soy! While the argument about estrogens in soy is valid to an extent, the more important cautions have to do with hyper thyroid, acidity, and the fact that soy in most forms is not a living food. Soy is also genetically modified in most forms. It's true that Soy can be dangerous in moderate to large amounts. This is a good message to send because it brings awareness. Saying that kids turn gay because of soy is not helpful to anyone, and it's offensive. I first followed a heart specialist in my quest for perfect health. He even said that soy was not meant to be a beverage. Soy was only to be consumed in small amounts with other foods. Now I realize that soy in any amount is not beneficial when you have a balanced living foods diet of nuts, grains, seeds, fruits, leafy greens, and vegetables. Soy is often used as a transition food for people becoming vegan. Many have great success using soy during this crucial time. But they end up eating soy in large amounts to compensate for a supposed lack of protein--buying into the myth of this meat-based America. Eventually they see that all of these ways around meat are a dead end. Lots of things can go wrong when we mess with nature's divine system. Trying to control or manage the body with man-made foods, or substitutes leads to all kinds of whacky results. This rediculous e-mail is a good example of what can go wrong when someone is still under the influence of the old meat-based masculine energy. Coming at things from the abundant earth-mother perspective, you would never even put forth these kinds of thoughts because they promote fear and spread rumors which take away from the true point of the discussion.
