Guest guest
I forgot to include Broccoli and Sunflower greens. Cut off the stalk of Broccoli close to the florets. Peel off the small florets and toss them in the mix, then cut off the stalk again when you can not longer take the little pieces off, then peel off some more until there is just one little floret left, then toss it in the mix too. This technique allows you to get at the broccoli floret without slicing them which causes the broccoli to shatter. It also allows you to get at the most tasty tender part of the bunch. Sunflower greens with their pine-like and nutty flavor and hearty appearance work really well in the salad too. Michael
