Guest guest
I often state that time is an illusion. A listener named Jon recently reacted by saying, " It's not that time is an illusion, it's the possibiity of having a dream come true that makes life interesting. " I thought this was a fascinating reaction to the idea of timelessness. Here is my response: >dream come true< positive feelings associated with a dream image of reality bring it into the present and we live in this timeless moment as long as it lasts and it can be revisited {{{:<>:}}} time is an illusion because the experience of the inner dream is timeless and this feeling state is revisited through the imagination which is an internal mechanism that uses the present moment as a door to the infinite paying attention to the inner life, through thoughts, feelings, and dreams, the body and its inner need for good food and movement is understood and we develop a keen sense of our intuition and our need for good feelings and emotions... This entire process has the effect of melting time into the here and now where the infinite possibilities are felt with every moment as it moves along...no fear of the future and no magnetic hold from the past...total liberation of consciousness in the here and now, living the timelessness of the dream while being totally awake and alive in the loving moment choosing everything, even if we don't like what we choose, understanding that we chose it and taking ownership of the choice, noticing ourselves in the act of choosing and noticing our hopes and dreams contained in the moment of our choosing, feeling the rush of excitement when things happen in our favor, feeling gratitude for the blessings bestowed sometimes hidden behind the veil of so called negative experiences, the roadsign points us to the place where dreams come true I remember when I was a child and my mother would take the shorter way to the market and use the highway instead of the back roads. I asked her why she took the short way. She said that the other way takes more time. I told her that I liked the other way more. She asked why. I said because it doesn't feel like it takes as long. We laughed together at the realization that the other way was indeed shorter and better if we honored our inner experience of it.
