Guest guest
I eat cooked tomatoes from time to time, even when I get pretty strict about raw foods. I have always included these in my diet because they are the best source of lycopene. I heard from a credible source that they must be cooked in order to make this necessary nutrient available. Does anyone have any more info on this? What about Sundried Tomatoes? Do they have lycopene? I am not too sure what lycopene is or why it is important either. All I know is I do love cooked and sundried tomatoes and see no harm in them even on a very strict raw vegan diet. Michael
Guest guest
Hi Michael, Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant. Go to garynull.com and search his library, he has loads of info on it. Also, go to ask.com where you can find more. Elaine , " bossalingo " <bossalingo wrote: > > I eat cooked tomatoes from time to time, even when I get pretty strict about raw foods.
