Guest guest
If you need more reasons why everyone should be using YL products, pick up a copy of the October 2006 issue of National Geographic. There is an excellent 27-page article on the toxins in our houses, foods, fabrics, furniture, our whole environment, titled, "The Chemicals Within Us." The author received $15,000 (yes that's right) worth of chemical testing of his blood & urine paid for by Nat'l Geographic for this article. The author was able to double the amount of mercury in his blood just by eating fish caught in San Francisco Bay for dinner & breakfast, scary. There are 2 pages of lists where toxins are found, which ones & in whatproducts (furniture, make-up, plastics, etc.). One specific thing to avoid is 'hard plastic bottles." Good Health to You Elaine All-new Mail - Fire up a more powerful email and get things done faster. Guest guest
Thanks so much for this Elaine. The fact that it was published in Nat. G. will give more authority to it and so HOPEFULLY more people will begin to make changes. N. Guest guest
You're welcome and hopefully so, Nancy. The more I learn about the dangers of plastics the more I have to shake my head. It has caused me to reflect many times on when as a kid, there were no plastic containers of any kind that I can remember. Maybe Clorox and I could be wrong. I remember how happy we were when plastic sandwich bags were made available. Little did we know that our lunches, wrapped in waxed paper were the safest thing yet. But then, some of us had to wait for our parents to either accept plastic bags or be able to afford them before we found them in our lunch bags. Another thing, that was a long time before "zip locks" too. Elainepnparlette wrote: Thanks so much for this Elaine. The fact that it was published in Nat.
