Guest guest
Greetings, I once read that a raw vegan lifestyle combined with lots of love, meditation, and movement could potentially extend the lifespan to a length not seen since the beginning of time. There is certainly a general feeling that life can be extended and that life can be lived without stress and without sickness. Some even feel that all of these combined practices can increase awareness of the subtle spiritual forces thereby allowing one to exist in a super conscious state. We all like to talk about quality of life, and about the things we can do in order to acheive it. I brought this up to my enlightened teacher one day. She said, " Yes, quality of life is of course what we all perceive as being important. But eating well and living well is also about acheiving a quality of death. Being aware and peaceful about one's journey means you will approach death with an inner vitality and you will be conscious in those last moments as you pass into whatever your dream of the divine is...and you will feel happy knowing that you have lived a full life with an awareness of yourself as a part of it all. " I thought that was a beautiful thought to pass on. I woke up thinking about it today. I think about it when I get a little sidetracked. When life throws me a couple curve balls, I remember to be present at every moment and observe how everything keeps happening with or without me in this beautiful place. Love is always there like air and light. It's just a matter of noticing and feeling how every moment has a lifetime of potential. I wish you all a subtle smile inside filling you with faith in your choices. peace Michael
