While this isn't directly relevant to raw food, these animals below who were recently rescued from academic atrocities by a brave, noble soul need caring, responsible homes so they can live out their remaining days in peace and harmony, even if only for a little while. If you or anyone else you know has the will and ability to take on this generous task, I congratulate you and encourage you to contact the organization, Hugs for Puppies, mentioned below. 46 rats that were used in psychology experiments at a college have been rescued by a student. They were going to be killed but the student got possession of them and the Philadelphia group Hugs for Puppies agreed to take them in and adopt them out. They are all sweet but all need just as sweet homes.

 

They are all albino (white with red eyes) males, and are all friendly and non-biters. Because they were lab-bred, they have different immune systems than pet store rats and cannot be kept in the same cage or play area as other rats. They are very curious and very cute. They are between 4 and 10 months old, so will live for another 1-2 years.
