Raw Vegan Potluck, This Sunday in Columbia Heights (DC), 4-7 pm EDT

You're invited to come celebrate spring this Sunday, April 2 in

Washington, DC at a raw vegan potluck! Watch out for the beginning

of daylight savings time and join us from 4-7 pm EDT for good food,

good company, and hopefully, good weather! Everyone is invited,

regardless of how much experience you have with raw food. For some

Kids are welcome, especially since we'll have a kids playroom

available next to the room where the potluck is being held. The

building is also completely wheelchair accessible.

 

If you're not into creating a whole recipe, please bring a simple

veggie or fruit salad, raw nuts, etc. Bring only raw vegan food to

share, preferably organic. If you can, please write down your recipe

and put your name on it so other people can see what's in your dish

and ask you how to make it. Everyone is welcome!

Public Transportation:

 

Take Metro's Green line to Columbia Heights and take the left

escalator up to street level. Turn around 180 degrees and walk back

toward 14th Street, and turn left. Continue five blocks to Meridian

Place, and turn left. Walk down to 1440 Meridian Place, N.W. on the

left. At the security panel, dial Building Futures to enter the

building.

 

Take the 14th or 16th Street bus to Meridian Place to 1440 between

14th and 16th streets; or take the 42 from Dupont Circle to the last

stop in Mt. Pleasant (and walk up 16th Street to Meridian, and turn

right).
