Hello All,

>I will be teaching a Reiki Level I Class, Saturday, April 8, 2006.

The class is 9:00 AM-4:30 PM, and will be taught at Tacoma Park

Chapel, 8120 Fenton Street in Silver Spring, MD.

>Reiki is a hands on healing therapy designed to assist the

recipient in restoring balance on all levels of being; physical,

mental, emotional and spiritual. Reiki is a Japanese word. " Rei "

means spiritual guided or universal life force. " Ki " is life-force

energy, which the Chinese call chi. Reiki is spiritually guided

universal life force energy. It is a healing vibration of the

universal life force energy that is all around us, and within us.

>In the Reiki Level I class students will learn: Detailed Definition

of Reiki; Factual History of Reiki; Reiki Principles;Introduction to

the Chakras;

 

Level I attunement (initiation);

>Traditional Hand Positions for both self healing and healing with

others; and Japanese Techniques.

>The class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience.

Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki

treatment using all the hand positions, the self -treatment, and

practice using Japanese Reiki Techniques.
