We've got to be doing something right here at the Dairy Education Board. Since the founding of the Anti-Dairy Coalition in 1994, milk consumption has decreased twelve straight years! All of the hard work continues to pay off. Appearing on thousands of radio shows this past decade of my life and hundreds of television shows has worked wonders.

Each magazine article or newspaper item alerting consumers to the adverse effects of cow's milk becomes another nail in the dairy industry coffin. The Economic Research Service, a division within the United United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), has determined that per-capita liquid milk consumption fluid milk sales decreased again in 2004. When we began the Notmilk movement in 1994, the Average American was consuming more than 25 gallons of milk per person per year. In 2006, that number will continue to decline to under 21 gallons per person. The dairy industry budgets over $500 million each year for milk mustache ads and other deceptions. Imagine if we had that same budget? No person in his or her right mind would give their children heart disease pills or cancer seeds. Got milk? Get sick!
