Guest guest
Peace How is it going? I hope everyone is still journaling and communicating with their buddies. I am assuming that the Group Brisk Walk did not happen, because when I woke up this morning at 6 am it was lightly raining. Well, we can try again for the next walk. Last night, I saw Lori Bradford at Mamasita's in DC, a new BellyDancing studio. She expressed her concern that she wasnt eating at all. Let me say that it is important for you all participating in the Challenge to go shopping, so that you have enough to eat. Dopnt be surprised that you are running back and forth to the store every few days. This Wednesday, Dec 7th at 6pm - Reflections and Smoothies - $5. Dr Ian Noel, of Universal Healing Services, will be coming to speak on the benefits of the Raw Food Diet. Anyone may come, even if you are not part of the Challenge. Also, dont forget to bring stuff for us to create our smoothies. Here are some suggestions: Bananas, mangoes, strawberries, peaches, guavas, kale, almonds, cashew, oranges, young coconuts, blueberries, dates..etc. By the way, we are meeting at The Yabba Pot DownTown - 771 Washington Blvd, Baltimore. On Friday, Dec 9th, we have decided to go to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, Inner Harbor, 7pm. Remember, this is a Challenge! Therefore, the question is: How do I eat in Mainstream America while eating Raw and Living Foods? Well, let's try this out. They have a very extensive menu and their portions are large. Please email me to let me know if you are able to attend. And on Saturday, Dec 10th, 6:30 pm we will be meeting at Sankofa Dance Theater for some Body Movement and Bodywork - ($10 - $20). Baba Kauna will be leading us. Please wear clothes that you can move in - i.e. leggings and t-shirts. Sankofa is located at 2901 Druid Park Drive, Baltimore. By the way, the Raw Food Potluck was really fun. There were about 25 people in attendance. Everyone introduced themselves and told their story. Dont miss the next events! See you all soon!
