Secondly this is a live food list serve, the suggestion of goat's milk could have been made in private not on the list serve. Of course folks gotta do what they gotta do. If we were in a shelter situation or a war situation I don't know that all of this discussion of live this or that would have any bearing. But what was stated was she could not breast feed and need help, I'm thinking help from a live point of view. Then maybe Vegan.............but to jump to goat milk's.....well well I just don't know about that. Z available..sometimes the raw goats milk may be an alternative until past the 2nd year... Keep in mind we are not always in a position of the ideal, and some temporary substitutes may have to do....Many of us have been non vegan and non raw for most of ourlife and our body still has the capacity to reverse damage from our earlier damge......Remember seeing documentaries of animals raising and feeding other animals out of their species when the mother was lost or killed......"water is very flexible and does not need to comform to any set way, yet is very powerful"
Guest guest
I'm not trying to be argumentative, I honestly don't understand how you can say an infant mammal does not need mammary secretions? If the baby can't get milk from it's mother, it needs milk from another source until it is old enough to be weaned (like EVERY mammal) and then give her all the nut milk you want. This has nothing to do with how I feel about goats or cows, this is a human baby and raw goat's milk IS LIVE FOOD. A mammal needs milk while it's an infant, that is how it is designed to grow, so I honestly don't see what you guys are so upset with me for .... N. Guest guest
breast and seed milk is not the same as seed milk alone...that's what i was refering to..as far as goat's milk even that was suggested as a possibility in the raw form...there was no suggestion to jump to any one thing...the suggestion was to be open to various possibilities, taking into considerstion resources... i don't recall everything on this board in terms of food being only live food???? I still stand by my suggestion to be open to what may be workable right now.... is everyone on here all live or everyone posting... seems like we keep going back to this rightness...are all babies not on breats milk or live food unhealthy or dis-aesed??? Guest guest
Greetings family, I agree Mark. If we hold to a strictly vegan live perspective- why would we accept a wet nurse, ie human milk over goat's milk? While I know the harmful effects of cow products, I'm told that goat's milk is easier for humans to digest. I appreciate vegan live and I am slowly evolving towards a diet/life of purity- but if we will sustain our babies with the milk of another mother, what's the difference if the milk comes from a human or a goat? It is good to know, however, that there children who consume seed and nut milks are healthy without animal products. Blessings conscious family love and lite pam
