Guest guest
You said your skin is oily. I recommend Nature's Plus brand NATURAL BEAUTY CLEANSING BAR. It has lemon and healing comfrey (says allantoin, which is from comfrey). Avoid the eye area. It's a great shower soap, too! It's pH balanced 4.5. Keeps you smelling fresh longer than other shower bars. I USE IT. Smile Herb Shop in College Park, MD has it. 301-474-8791.starlightearthchild <starlightearthchild wrote: Hello all, I have been washing my problem prone skin with a glycolic acid face wash, which I have stopped using. It was great for my acne and clogged pores but I don't like the idea of putting chemicals on my face when I could be using something natural. I have done a colon cleanse recently as well as a liver cleanse and also a two week cleansing diet. This has improved my skin somewhat but I will continue to cleanse until I see clear skin. In the meantime, I eat very little fat/oily foods and drink lemon or lime water 3X a day. I am using aromatherapy to balance my hormones as well. All of these things help but I want to wash and moisturize my face with something better than glycolic acid. My skin is oily so I need to use something that takes care of that problem.
