O.K. You know someone had to comment about this statement. "But Heller says raw foodies could miss out on some nutrients. It's not a diet for children or for those who are looking for a temporary diet fix, she says." Just for the sake of defending a raw foods diet, we don't miss out on any nutrients as long as there is VARIETY in our raw foods diet and my goodness raw foods diets are too for children. You go, girl! I also probably wouldn't have suffered from chronic asthma throughout high school and college if I'd been raised on a raw vegan diet instead of the Suicidal/Sadomasochistic American Diet of flesh, dairy & eggs. I probably wouldn't have been embarassed by frequent acne in high school either if I knew the truth about bovine mammary secretions' effects on my complexion. People who claim to be "experts" and write such anti-scientific trash are just woefully uninformed as I'd expect.
