Guest guest Posted September 20, 2005 Report Share Posted September 20, 2005 Speaking of Shrub's relentless attacks against Mother Nature (in the continuing war against women, animals and nature, primarily by the right anti-democratic wing), does anyone here know the truth and sources for this information regarding Trader Joe's organic produce? Elaine mentioned to me last Saturday that she no longer shops there because she read an article indicating TJ's organic standards to be fraudulent. I've been routinely buying allegedly organically grown produce from TJ's for several years, including before the suspicious USDA standards were officiated, and if Elaine is correct, then I've been unknowingly poisoning myself with a plethora of pesticides that may be the partial culprits for some of my worst ongoing physical symptoms. I typically buy oranges, romaine lettuce, roma or beefsteak tomatoes, strawberries & sometimes peaches, plums, kiwis, bananas, avocadoes, salad herbs, etc. @TJ's. If/when I read credible articles about TJ's defrauding the public who want to buy organic produce from them, which is obviously illegal, I will promptly boycott them & spread the word. Just like on E-Bay, I have a zero-tolerance level for being ripped off. Please expound on this topic, Elaine & anyone else informed on this issue. Namaste, David " E.
