Hurricane Katrina Victims

All,

 

I usually don't do this - ask others to get involved, but I'm hoping

everyone will reach into their pockets and donate something to the

victims of Hurricane Katrina. Most of the folks down there work

minimum wage jobs and have become refugees due to their economic

situation. I know we all helped out during the Tsunami, so let's do

the same for our own people. Most of these folks are minorities and

I'm afraid they won't receive a lot of aid unless it comes from

individual efforts such as ours.

 

I'm sending my donation through the Red Cross. Their web site seems

to be saturated with hits, so your best bet might be the phone lines.
