Guest guest
Lynda my sister and friend, You are a change agent- beautiful, strong and nurturing. I agree with you The oppressors are keeping they're own stifled and in control. What they don't realize is that they're mechanism of control is slowly (however profitably) is affecting they're own - I don't understand the extent to their manipulations that spreads around the globe- but I know, as illustrated in many books, including biological treatments for autism and pdd (Dr.William Shaw) that the history of the grain, dairy and flesh industries have played major roles in the intoxication and mental/physical imprisonment of humans, irregardless of their backgrounds. I hope that Khepere and our other family understand that I am well aware of the power of the oppressor in subjugating humans of color globally- but I am no longer naive enough to believe that the european male is the sole benefacator of oppression and disease. I know of the devastation in the inner cities, and I know the advantage my two kids have because of my color. I know this problem is bigger than one individual. Prince William County did an all day inservice on poverty and education - which they are requiring all of their employees to attend. It intentionally focused soley on economics rather than race and economics (which I didn't really get)- but I thought it was a start. My point referred to health, as opposed to who gets the high paying job because of skin color. Everyone suffers from poor eating- europeans and all peoples. Irreverance seeps through the veins of the impure and slowly devalues life, irregardless of its' political, racial, affiliations/roots. I am one person who, alone, is not able to change the politics of oppression. This involves a family effort a spiritual connection of understanding, acceptance and an abiding reverance for life. one love always pam
