The next Live Smart speaker is Mr. Saurabh Dalal, president of the Vegetarian Society of the District of Columbia (VSDC). An adherent of the Jain religion, Mr. Dalal will speak about " Individuals Making Peace for a World in Need - A Personal and Jain Community View. " The Jain community in the United States is the largest outside of India. Live Smart events are social gatherings that explore how to practice a sustainable lifestyle using knowledge garnered from the spiritual and scientific perspectives. Examples of topics include the transition to a plant-based diet (otherwise known as vegan or vegetarian), safe food, upgrading your house to an eco-home, simple living to other religious perspectives.
