Hello, I am new to this board and new to raw food eating. I am

looking for a support buddy who is experience to help me start my

journey. I have many questions. Especially looking for someone who

has a family.

I am married with two children and want to convert my whole family.

Thank you,

Uruba

Skai, of the Yabba Pot is starting a raw potluck.

Skai, are you on this list?

I was hosting raw potlucks every other week for a while... happy to do so

again, just hard to pick a day with everything going on. Let's see if we

can make the Yabba Pot meetup work... a little tricky to work with

meetup.com sometimes. Anyhow, Skai will know more about it...

Hi, Tara

I am having the same problem with my kids. I wish I

had started earlier. I actually did with my oldest

but I felt so lost and had many questions. My familly

didn't make it any easier they kept giving him stuff I

asked them not to like candy. It's a lot easier to get

the knowledge now I just surf the internet and I

brought the joy of living live book a few weeks back I

have re-read it and taken notes. I am learning and

researching day by day.

The Yabba Pot meetings sounds really good. Weekends

are best for me.

I have questions about live cooking. Anyone know of

any classes being held in the city.

Thank you all for responding to my message.

Wow, it's gratifying to see so many B'more folks on the list. I've

been to the vegetarian meetup at the Yabba Pot, there's also a vegan

one. I checked the meetup site and found Skai's living foods group

here:

http://rawfood.meetup.com/147/

There are only six members so far. They meet every first Wednesday at

6pm (although this month's event was cancelled). Now that I know

about it, I think I'll join up.
