Stop Using Teflon?

I remember over 20 years ago. The teflon was coming up in my pans.Perhaps I did not always use the proper utensils. Knowing me; this would be the case. But since the coating did come up. I stopped using them. If this material gets into your food nothing good will come of it. I only used stainless steel with a 12 or higher gauge.The iron pan, glass or pyrex

is it ok to cook in an iron pan?? also what about woks I really want to get a wok. I only cook one meal and that is just a stir fry that I barely cook. I just warm it so I wanted a wok so the food isnt so close to the heat source.

I think glass ware is probably the best.
