Raw Vegan Potluck Sun. March 6, 4-7 pm in Silver Spring

You are warmly invited to join a group of raw food pioneers,

enthusiasts, and brand new explorers for a potluck next Sunday,

March 6 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Silver Spring, MD. As always,

everyone is invited, regardless of how extensive your experience

with raw food is, so please come if you're interested! For some new

recipes, go to www.rawfoods.com. But if you're just curious, please

join us and bring a simple veggie salad or some fruit.

 

Whatever you decide, please bring only raw vegan food to share,

preferably organic. An ingredient list placed next to your dish is

helpful for those with special dietary interests/constraints.

Plates and utensils for eating are welcome!

 

Then on April 3, God willing, we'll hold the potluck in a

Washington, DC (Columbia Heights) wheelchair accessible location

with a kids playroom.

 

On a personal note, I'm very happy to report that I'm pretty well

mended after my trip (and fall). Thanks for all your prayers,

offers of support, and good humor. I was really supported, my

physical therapist is amazed at my condition, and I was delighted to

get out of slings and splints after a few days. I've never

appreciated my arms so much in my life before!

If you're driving, head north on Georgia Avenue from the beltway,

turn left on Dennis Avenue (large intersection), then straight ahead

one block and turn right on Douglas Ave. Go one block straight

ahead to 2301 Homestead Drive on the left across the intersection.

Street parking is plentiful.
