greetings imani sheba:

Rezz yisrael here. This is a bit of thought provocation in relay to your message for children and nutrition. It is nice that your awareness now includes the pcrm organization. The knowledge goes much further. More importantly, the refinement of children's nutrition within a parent's

cognition has to be addressed. Food is literally a child's direction for her/his composition.

You made mention of "protein needs." We must highlight upon a child her/his abilities to read nature and listen to their own cognition. A child will intuitively [instinctively arguably] pick the most needed vibratory food for their bodies given the reception of access. What may be perceived by parents as a "choice" may not be such as this within a child's thinking. The significance is to rethink what nutrition/food means for each child. Though fundamental, it is very critical for progressive consciousness of child and parent.

Observe the interfacing of the veins of a green leaf and a child's eyes. The succulent pulp of a ripe multi-hued mango will delight a child indeed when eaten with their fingers. All industrial "candy" marketed to children are beguiling the inclination towards sweet fruits and a child's fresh brain biochemistry. Remember, our children are reincarnations of us. This is a subtle indication that in order to provide the child with nutrition it must attend to the basis for their origination through you the parent! Every edible plant is either a fruit or an herb, seed-bearing or absent thereof. Parents aught to rethink their foundational overstanding of their child's nutritional needs and diet. What does all this mean for the child? Botanical love is nutrition.
