The intention of our community is that of being completely self-sustainable. As part of this community there is a yoga and raw food retreat, and special events for visitors internationally alike. This retreat is centrally located as part of the common area of the community to include a sanctuary, community dorm, multi-purpose room (for yoga, education, arts, drumming, etc.), a kitchen, laundry, bath house, sauna, and fenced common garden areas to support ongoing community conscious living. This community is approximately 500 +/- acres of a 4100 acre farming ranch with a major river running through it in the heart of the country of Belize’s fertile, rich savannas. It is future speculated to grow soy beans (for a biodiesel pilot program), okra and other produce (for international export), and raise organically fed, hormone free live stock. This community is designed to be entirely financially sustainable with employment opportunities as part of the community, the ranch, and in town. It is also future speculated by the founder of this community to open a “Green†restaurant and Health food store in town near the tourism hub of Belize, Belize City. NAMASTE’... Multi-Cultural, Sustainable Living Community is speculated to be co-operatively owned and operated. There will be approximately fifty, one acre (+/-) lots available for purchase that can be legally deeded to the rightful owner on approval of application by elected elders of the community. As an owner of a parcel you are also entitled to own one fiftieth of the common area and retreat based on total investment to date for these areas. There is approximately a 300 acre buffer between community and existing ranch for use as specifically designated by elected elders.
