Lancaster Foods is in Jessup, MD just off of Rt. 95 on Rt. 175 (east of Columbia). They mostly sell wholesale to stores, but they will take "cash customers" (must pay in cash or check with ID). You can pick stuff up between 10:00 AM and 4:00pm. Call 1 800 247-8125 or 310 621-2717 or 410 799-0010 and ask for Scott or Josh (they do the organic orders) and tell them you're a cash customer. The can fax you the list of organic foods available (but it seems to take them forever to get to that) but basically they have what's in your local health food store. They only have persimmons for a short while, but they also have great organic strawberries, sweet pineapple (ask for "Your Choice, Extra Sweet"), apples, citrus (great tangerines), kiwi, etc. In the non-organic I regularly get "Martha's Best" papayas. I ask for them to be ripe (yellow - and check when you go to pick it up and ask them to give you riper if they have it and you want it) Martha's Best have no irradiation, no GMO, and they are delicious. Now this is in bulk, so you need room to store it. I just use my garage in this kind of temperature, but I also have an extra refrigerator that I fill up.

Hope this info can be used by many of you.
