Elise, Is your 2yo completely raw or do you just incorporate raw dishes into the diet? My son is 4yo and has completely done an about face concerning vegetables. All he wants to eat arestarches! I'm going to try the breakfast recipe. Sounds great! Monica Z.Elise Hayden-Ferdman <ehaydenf wrote: Hi, AquiaMy family is totally hooked on raw oatmeal. Guest guest
None of us are completely raw yet. I average about 75%-some days are better than others! I try to get as much raw stuff into the kids and hubby as i can without anyone complaining. I've noticed that they are eating more of it lately. Sorry to haer about your 4 y.o. and the veggies. Ny 8 y.o. went through that, too. We weren't raw then, but what I did was to just figure out what he WOULD eat and give him lots of it. Hiding the veggies in salads w/ fruit and fruit juices can be a good strategy. If it's cooked starches that he's aftre, maybe try tossing finely chopped veggies with brown rice, or thinly sliced veggies with linguine, and make sure he's good and hungry before he sits down to eat! Even the most dedicated veggie picker-outer might decide it is just not worth the effort! Unless, he's also anti-mixed up foods. My 8 y.o. did that for a while, too...Oi! My little guy, who's not too crazy about salads, really likes carrot salad with soaked walnuts and raisins, dressed with OJ, grated lemon and orange peel. Hope that helps! iknow how frustrating it can be to get kids to eat well. Blessed Be, Elise --- " E.
