Greetings Members:

Just a note in case you haven't seen them yet, to let you know about a few new delicious fall fruits.

If you get a chance you owe it to yourself to try these:

Sapote (a.k.a. Mamey Fruit). I was told that it's also called

Sapodilla. I stand to be corrected.

Feijoas

Honey Crisp Apples (so, so good)

Cameo Apples (so very good)

At least 2 dozen or more types of apples

There's a really big grapefruit about the size of a sugarbaby watermelon. The name of it slips me.

Pomagranates

Fresh Cranberries are in (juice your own)

A variety of Grapes

Don't forget the every wonderful papaya. Cut it in half and squeeze fresh lime juice over it. . . heavenly!

If you want to put a new twist on cucumbers, peel, cut in chunks and squeeze fresh lime juice over it. (sprinkle celtic sea salt, optional)

For those of you who are adventurous, try the Horned Melon. Quite interesting.

Oh, I almost forgot, if you're lucky you may still get the "Monster Fruit" I found them in MOM and GLUT.

Enjoy!

Good Health to You

Elaine

Correct me if need be. I think the mamey is the larger one (brown sort looks

like a mature coconut and orangs inside , texture like an avacodo, very sweet

and heavy and the sapadille is the green one , i belive they called it sugar

apple when i was in the Bahamas and jamaica.
