Raw Veggie BurgersFrom – Uncooking with Jameth & Kim pg 64Veggie Burger Batter:

1/2 cup - Sunflower Seeds

1/3 cup - Sprouted Lentils2 medium carrots, chopped

2 stalks celery, chopped

1/2 of a ripe medium sized tomatoOptional: 2-4 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice

Optional: Celtic Sea Salt

 

Burger Toppings:

Sliced tomatoes

Onions

Raw Pickles

Use lettuce leaves as burger buns

 

Blend the batter ingredients in a Food Processor until well mixed. Form into "patties" directly on Dehydrator Trays up to 1/2 inch high. With a fork, poke holes in the tops of the burgers to allow for greater air circulation, thus preventing fermentation. Dehydrate at 110 degrees for 8 hours or until desired firmness is reached. If possible (but not essential) flip burgers over anytime after about 3 hours for more even dehydration. Poke holes in the flipped side until ready.
