Moving along into day 13!

From The Heart of a God Chaser by Tommy Tenney

" For the first two or three years after my conversion, I used to ask for specific things. Now I ask for God. . . If God is your own, then all things in heaven and on earth will be your own, because He is your Father and is everything to you; otherwise you will have to go and ask like a beggar for certain things. When they are used up, you will have to ask again. So ask not for gifts but for the Giver of gifts: not for life but for the Giver of life-- then life and the things needed for life will be added unto you. " Sadhu Sundar Singh

" God is our true Friend, who always gives us the counsel and comfort we need. Our danger lies in resisting Him; so it is essential that we acquire the habit of hearkening to His voice, or keeping silence within, and listening so as to lose nothing of what He says to us. " Francois Fenelon

" To have found God and still to pursue Him is the soul's paradox of love. " A.W. Tozer

Moses longed for more than a visitation; his soul longed for habitation. He wanted more than just seeing God's finger or hearing His voice speaking from a cloud or a burning bush. He had gone beyond fear to love, and God's abiding presence had become his consuming desire. " Tommy Tenney

One of my favorite verses: Jeremiah 33:3 " Call unto me and I will answer you and show you great and mightily things that you know not. "

Marvel in His majesty &

Dwell on His delight in you.

Smiles,

Nancy
