Day 11 thoughts

There are many things that impact our health, but our attitude and our nutritional state are two of the most significant.

Below are comments from the book, Food and Behavior, by Barbara Stitt

" If our diet contains the substances needed for proper brain function, then the brain will work normally; behavior will be rational and constructive, lives will be full and fruitful. If, however, the diet does not supply the proper nutrients, and if it contains harmful substances as well, then the brain malfunctions - and anything from irritability to lunacy may result. And the alarming point I must make is that the American way of eating is precisely the sort of diet which will cause brain malfunction. "

Proverbs 17:22 " A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones. "

From A Guide to Getting It: Self - Esteem by numerous contributors

" Health, or lack there-of, is the outward manifestation of what naturally flows from our inner state of being. …. Practicing self-care increases one's self esteem. Often we are so busy with work, family, and responsibilities, that we are last on the list when it comes to priorities. We must learn to love and care for ourselves. By showing love and respect for ourselves we are modeling for others. Put your self-care activities on your calendar with a heart around them. "

So, how will you pamper yourself today?

Enjoy yourself YOU ARE WONDERFUL! And have a deliciously raw day!

Hugs,

Nancy
