It would appear that Catholic Relief Services is the best route, since they are on the ground there and have a proven track record. We are attaching their press release with information about the process. In summary: To donate, please call 1-800-HELP-CRS, or donate online at www.catholicrelief.org, or send a check to Catholic Relief Services at 209 West Fayette Street, Baltimore, MD 21201-3443. We suggest marking your check in the Memo line: Haiti Hurricane Relief. ***Please place the following bulletin notice in your parish or school bulletin: The Haitian Ministry of the Diocese encourages people to send monetary donations (of any size!) to Catholic Relief Services to provide immediate emergency assistance to Haitians affected by Hurricane Jeanne.
