A little infroduction....

Hi everyone,

 

I am Jacinta, just today I came upon this group forum and I am very

happy that I did. I was just asking someone here at work whether

they knew of any Raw Food support groups in the MD/DC/VA area. So

I'm happy I stumbled across this.

 

Now a little about myself. I'm a 28 yr old (soon to be 29) African

American female. I am not vegan, vegetarian, or anywhere near it.

However I have considered myself healthy (despite the real meaning)

for a long time until the last 3 or so years of my life when I have

discovered that my health could be alot better(A HELLUVA LOT BETTER

FOR A FEW GOOD REASONS!!) I have been to one Raw Food seminar in my

entire life but have always been interested in obtaining optimum

health. So at the beginning of September for 2 weeks I'll be going

away on a supervised water fast to assist in cleansing my system

out. After that I am praying I will be a little more focused in

order to continue on a Raw Food Journey. I am so excited about this

that it's hard to contain my emotions about it sometimes.

 

I would like to know or hear from anyone pertaining to a Raw Food

lifestyle, however more specifically I am interested in hearing from

other young females who may be dealing with Polycystic Ovarian

Syndrome and the symptoms that go along with it and generally how

you may have coped with it through a Raw Food regimen or lifestyle

change.
