Guest guest
Greetings Rawsoulers: First of all, thank you all for such wonderful educational information that pertains to my daily living and the enhancement of my existence. At this moment, I am in need of information about the natural treatment of preeclampsia in pregnant women. The clinical definition: Preeclampsia is the development of hypertension, proteinuria, and edema associated with rapid weight gain during the last trimester of pregnancy. My pregnant relative is presenting with proteinuria which is protein in the urine in the amount of 3 grams thus far. Her physicians(OBGYNs) do not have a treatment plan as of yet. She has been diagnosed with preeclampsia. What supplements or herbs can she take to clear up the protein in the urine? Be well, Cy
Guest guest
I had preeclampsia with my first pregnancy. My midwives told me there was nothing I could do about it except give birth. Since bed rest wasn't my cup of tea, I went to our Traditional Chinese doctor, and he said that, while he couldn't cure it, he could give me a tea to lessen the symptoms. After 3 days of the tea, my blood pressure and proteinuria were both down. Not enough to be free of the preeclampsia, but enough to be on partial bedrest. This was before I knew that raw foodism even existed. According to Susun Weed in her book, "Herbal for the Childbearing Year", preeclampsia is much easier to prevent than to deal with after the fact. She had some suggestions for dealing after the fact. Unfortunately, I can't find the book at the moment-just moved here. I do seem to recall that it is important to drink LOTS of water. HTH, Elise (who will be giving her intro shortly!)Cynthia Martin <c2wealthy wrote: Greetings Rawsoulers: First of all, thank you all for such wonderful educational information that pertains to my daily living and the enhancement of my existence.
