Guest guest
Hello /James: I just recently purchased an Excalibur 4 drawer model from DiscountJuicers.com. I am making changes in my lifestyle and I had some budgetary considerations, but if I was doing it all over again, I would go on and purchase the 9 drawer Excalibur. I was under the impression that the 4 drawer model had an on/off switch, which it doesn't. On that website, there was discussion about some of the different dehydrator models and it said that some of the other dehydrator models either did not have temperature guages or it ran alot higher than it was supposed to. I did purchase another temperature guage like the website suggested and when I used the Excalibur the other evening, the temperature was pretty consistent. I think the 4 drawer model is a good starter dehydrator and it also might be useful if a person is preparing food for one or two people. As far as purchasing the Excalibur from DiscountJuicers.com, I don't know. I decided I didn't want to use my credit card, as they had a check option. I sent them a check and it took almost two months for me to get the dehydrator! The company explained that if I had used my credit card it would have taken less time (??)Ashtarra
